Big Visit, Bigger Offer: Cam Pritchett Picks Up Ohio State Scholarship
April 15th, 2025

Class of 2027 defensive end Cam Pritchett recently visited Ohio State for their annual spring game and left with a scholarship offer, marking a significant milestone in his recruitment. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound edge rusher from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, is considered one of the top prospects in the 2027 class.

During his visit, Pritchett had the opportunity to meet with Ohio State's coaching staff, including head coach Ryan Day and defensive line coach Larry Johnson. The Buckeyes' coaching staff expressed their interest in Pritchett's potential and extended the offer following his visit.

“This was my first time at Ohio State and you can tell it’s different there,” said Pritchett. “The biggest highlights to me were the standard everyone was upheld to. The amazing coaching staff and the players there. Also the culture and the people in Ohio.”

Pritchett’s Ohio State visit left him with a lasting impression on how his future could unfold in Columbus someday. “I felt really blessed and honored to receive an offer because I feel like I would be a great fit there – I’d get developed, and help win another National Championship.”

As a highly sought-after recruit, Pritchett's offer from Ohio State adds to his growing list of scholarship offers from top programs across the country. His recruitment is expected to intensify as he continues to develop and showcase his abilities in the coming years.

Cam Pritchett credits much of his growth and progress to Coach Isaac Hadac and the 5 Star Football program. The rising defensive end has seen clear strides in his game and overall presence as a recruit, both on and off the field.

"I want to thank Coach Hadac and the 5 Star Football program in my process," Pritchett said. "I've improved on technique, gotten better help managing my social media, as well as grown on social media."

In today’s recruiting world, exposure and development go hand in hand — and Pritchett understands that well. “Coach Hadac has reached out to many college coaches and gotten film to them,” he added. “So I'm very thankful and honored to be in the position that I am in.”
